Indoor Softball is an indoor variant of softball that can be played when the weather outside isn’t favourable. Many of the rules remain the same, but due to the indoor nature of the game some have had to be modified to accommodate the restricted environment; therefore indoor is a fast-paced game. Each year Softball Ireland supports the Dublin Indoor Softball Tournament (DIST) and Wexford Indoor Softball Tournament (WIST), where teams from across Ireland congregate to play indoor.
Dates for DIST, WIST, and other indoor tournaments, are advertised on the Softball Ireland website and social media channels during the winter months.
